Camp Christy Work Camp
We would like our youth group and any available adults, to plan this week to come to Christy and join other churches from around our area for a time of work and fun. We will be doing spring clean up, painting, and other activities. A boy Scout group will be there the same week building a brand new Air Soft Course for our wonderful Camp Christy! Our own NCV Praise Band will lead in worship every night. See Pastor Mary or Rob for further details.

February 12 will be Camp Christy Day at FBC. The New Camp Director will be here to share with us some of the wonderful plans for Camp Christy. Christy has a long history of being a place where people could come together to meet God, and meet other believers. Many of us, and our children and grand children have wonderful memories of Camp Christy. I would like to hear those stories and share those memories. But Christy has a great future as well. This last December, Crhisty was the location for Back to Bethlehem. We got to meet Shepherds, see the baby Jesus in a Manger, and got a carriage ride and a wonderful meal, all at Camp Christy. We have a full slate of church camps and other camps planned for this coming summer. We hope to have a new Air Soft Course up and running by this summer. Our Church supports Camp Christy with $300 a month. If you would like to support Christy personally, consider joining Christy 365.25, and commit to 25 dollars a month. When you do so, you fund Camp Christ for an entire day of Camp; and help ensure the future of camping for years to come.
We continue to have about 40 youth and adults on Wednesday nights. Leah Lorimar and Danica Hellner do a wonderful job of providing us with good, nutritional, meals. This month the kids will be studying about Jesus’ power and authority. The youth are studying Philippians 4:13 and finding their strength in God.
